DH + My coupons = a good combination

My dh always goes through the flyers and does the shopping - when we've got time, I pass along any coups that I think he can use.

Today - he got Yoptimal on sale $1.98 - $1.00
frozen potatoes on sale? - $1.00
Pillars sliced ham 50% off = $1.00-.50X2= $1.00
3 steaks for $6.00
and other things.
It worked out well!

My husband won't use coupons and I have to ask him to use his optimum card, otherwise he won't.

I used to send DH to do the shopping but, if there are more than a few coupons and god forbid price matches, he mixes everything up. Throw an irate customer or cashier into the mix, and it is a disaster. So now I do all the shopping.

I DO feel very lucky for more than these reasons! But really he shops, cooks, cleans, takes care of the car and yard and me! What do I do, you might ask? I collect coupons, of course! (also help with the above - when he LETS me!)
