Got a new to me leather couch and love seat $345 for the pair no tax, it's not a deal its a steal.
And well over due. My poor couch set I have has been jumped on (2 kids) and spilt on(2 kids) and scratched to shreads (2 cats). I love Habitat for Humanity we go very frequent for all kids of things we need. Door handles ( my husband built my kitchen cupboards), tiles, flooring these kinds of things may need a little bit of creativity as they don't always have enough of one colour you may be looking for. Lucky for me DH is very creative and has given our 30 year old house, a whole lotta style. This thread is currently associated with: N/AJOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

You're very very lucky. Our habitat for humanity is all junk. And I'm not just saying that. It actually is very old very used junk that they want an arm and a leg for when it would be same price or cheaper to buy new. We went once and won't go back
Enjoy your new couch!!!Insert Clever Signature Here

I am glad you found a deal you were happy with.
At my local Habitat for Humanity stores, they used to have great deals 7-15 years ago.
The three locations that I browse at have become such a waste of time, that even people that used to go every week, now are disgusted in their 1-2 trips per year.
It is a frequent sighting in their stores to see customers, who are complete strangers, huddling up to discuss how horrible things have become at Habitat for Humanity.
Summary:
Used complete crap overpriced past the price it was new at a retail store.Last edited by greencanuck; Fri, Jun 8th, 2012 at 10:02 PM.

Great story! These H For H stores that are charging too much need new marketing managers, obviously! High prices = low volume Low prices = high volume

Great find OP. Enjoy your new sofa.
I love going to Habitat For Humanity. Never know what I am going to find. Last year I got a new lamp (still in the box) for $10. I still like the one near me but I have been to others that are very expensive and not much variety. If you are interested in Houseseats here is my referal link:

It's hit and miss with the stores. We lucked out one day and found a gorgeous large outdoor light for our garage for $150, came home and checked online and the same light Home Depot wanted $450 + tax for.
Looking for FPC for almost everything. Growing teen boy eating me out of house and home. Visit my facebook page www.facebook.com/UneekCreations Will trade finished product from my Etsy shop.
