well here it is 20x the points day at shopper's drug mart,,, again as usual i find that the sale prices are not posted,, im so sick of carrying the flyer around so that i have the correct product, size & colour.. i know i should prepare my list in advance but sometimes the flyer states selected one's only.. and there is not much in the flyer to bring up my total.. im out for the sales and extra extra bonus pts. . last week during the redemption prices were not correctly displayed it took until tuesday for who ever to get that done... i went to 4 different shoppers same problem at each.. shelves not stocked and lack of price tags and none existence of bonus pt offers displayed.. its only through this site that i find out about the bonus pts offers.

I agree with you.Last week one of the Shoppers in my city never put up $0.99 price tag for the 591mL Pepsi.Some people see a higher price on a tag than it's actually is at the cash register they assume it's the higher price and not buy it.The stores loses sales a lot of sales that way.I wish Shoppers had scanners for customers like Walmart and Zellers has.I do price checks a lot at Shoppers.Would save the cashiers a lot of time and energy if they had price scanners for customers.

Poirot, a couple of the SDMs in my area have 1 scanner for price checks by customers. I always scan everything and do a quick calculation before going to the cash. I don't want major surprises.

Georgia, stores here (Quebec) HAVE to have a self scanner, it's part of the Price Accuracy Law (Loi sur l'exactitude des prix), our SCOP law. From the complaints on this forum, it does not seem widespread through the rest of Canada for SDMs. I think all store should put these up, it's so nice to check prices without bothering anyone.

I find that my local Pharmaprix here don't have the sale stickers up when they open at 9 on Saturday, but they get busy sticking them & scanning the shelves with their potable scanners right away. I've never actually had an issue with items scanning wrong, even when the stickers are not up. As I usually shop before 11AM, I think it is quite good.

I agree, totally frustrating. I wish ALL stores had price scanners. It would help me so much.

My biggest pet peeves when shopping are empty shelves and mis-labelled prices.

Superstore is the worst. Now there is a place that needs a scanner. They are notorious for putting items on clearance with those pretty little pink 50% off stickers but not listing the regular price anywhere so its constantly a game of "50% off what?"

I just ask the cashier for a pricecheck before I buy a 50% pink sticker item if the original price isn't displayed anywhere.

The Superstore location that I shop at has 3-4 scanners for customers.
Unfortunately, I need to use it about 3-10 times per shopping trip.

Totally right, they should... Any store should basically! But that's not because it would be nice, practical & probably not expensive for everyone that they will do it.

I'm so happy not that Future Shop & Best Buy have scanners, I used to hate running around the store looking for someone to tell me the price.
