I wasn't on SC much in the summer so I missed the original posting of this wonderful win! Congrats CrazyQT to you and hubby... I love that the company invests so much into employee morale, it's so key yet has taken a back seat over the years. As someone else said, that gesture on it's own is a prize! So now I've read of your awesome plans for vactioning and time with family...love it!

Thank you all for your excitement for me. I'm still so grateful for such an amazing prize.

We have discussed so many options. So many that my mind just turns to mush trying to figure out the best way to enjoy this gift. I think we have narrowed it down to

a) a week in the Dominican (Punta Cana) which is going to cost roughly $2600 for both of us and then
b) a 7 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. This will cost roughly $3500 (including air fair). We will pay the difference over and above what the voucher is worth.

I am just still in shock that we will be able to do this all on the grace of a very generous company that my husband loves working for.

I would be too excited to even type. Several years ago I randomly filled in last minute tickets to see OPRAH and 20 minutes lates,I'll always remember the litlle lady calling with a cute accent saying "Hello this is Theresa from the Oprah Winfrey Show", well I lost it for like 2 days. My world was in 3D vision, your winfall is far better than my OPRAH surprise so I can only imagine, only imagine.
