Anyone heard of it? I'm trying to find more info about it, as you can only order through www.17daydiet.com, the book isn't available through Chapters etc. With shipping etc. the price is ~$30, so I don't just want to order it "blind".
I heard about this diet very briefly through my Aunt & Uncle; they love it but I haven't had a chance yet to ask them what they eat.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think any diet that is supposed to last for a certain number of days is bound to fail (or at least be fleeting).
The best way to lose weight is increase fiber and protein (lean meat, tofu, wild rice/sprouted grains and vegetables), decrease sugar and do alternating cardio (pref. intervals) and weights (I started with 2 pound weights so it doesn't even have to be difficult). I lost 50 pounds so far doing that (not counting calories or anything) and still working on it.
If you want to read a really great book, check out The Fat Fighter Diet. It's very balanced and focuses a lot on nutrition, not just losing weight but becoming healthier. Good exercise tips too (demonstrates proper technique if you can't afford a trainer).

I got this awhile ago and am a big fan. My nutritionist recommended it to me!
