Quaker Granola Bars, Nature Valley Bars, Koolaid Jammers & Tropicana Juice Brag

Also went to Zellers as I wanted to price match the Quaker Granola Bars and Koolaid Jammers that were on sale at Food Basics this week.

I got:

16x Koolaid Jammers - $1.00x16 = $16.00 (no coupons but fabulous deal!!!) I know it was limit 4 and I made 4 separate trips into the store

1x Tropicana Juice (pmd SDM) - $2.99

4x Quaker Granola Bars - $1.00x4 = $4.00

3x Nature Valley Dark Chocolate Bars - $1.00x3 = $3.00 - $2.97 = $0.03

I didn't have the greatest cashier as she commented in a snarky tone that I would only be paying $0.03 for the Nature Valley. I kept my cool and didn't say anything.

I handed her the coupons for the HBC bonus points and she had the nerve to tell me I photocopied them. I immediately told her they were not photocopied. She proceeded to say that I did because they were black and white and not in colour. I cut her off because at this point I had heard enough and I said that I didn't have any ink to print them in colour but that they were not photocopied!!! I dislike snarky, jealous cashiers!!!!!

Anyways, my total OOP was $20.42 plus HST of course

I will also now be sending in the Tropicana MIR for $25.00 in coupons

great brag. I too am tired of rude snarky cashiers. I always think how much trouble I would be in if I even remotely acted as rude towards my clients "customers" at the hosital.

I find most of Zellers cashiers are great except for one that always asks me for ID when I show my VIP SPC card! So I humour her & show my Dr License!! & she is blown away with my deals & savings!! haha (my bill was $117.xx & after SPC, coupons got it down to $56.xx)

BTW...did you find the MIR forms here?? I couldn't find them at Sobeys but got some coming in trades!

Thanks Carly! I think I know which cashier you are talking about. She always asks me for ID also and I tell her I don't have to show her my ID.....does she have short greyish hair and a man voice ? No I haven't seen the forms here yet but I do have a few coming in trades as well.

I don't understand why they make you feel like you've photocopied the coupon when it is in black and white. I mean, what did they do before colour ink was invented??
