Good news that Vauxhall has been cleared and now open. Also that it was not related to the other two situations. An isolated incident.

Justin Bieber's remarks were really beautiful - as was the song he did with just an acoustic guitar.

A B.C. woman named Chrissy Archibald has been identified as the Canadian who died in the London Bridge terror attack Saturday night.


Global Affairs Canada shared the following statement from the victim’s family:
“We grieve the loss of our beautiful, loving daughter and sister. She had room in her heart for everyone and believed strongly that every person was to be valued and respected,” read the statement from the Archibald family of Castlegar, B.C.

Florida shooting: 5 killed by sacked employee

Five people have been killed in a shooting at an Orlando industrial estate, police in Florida say.
They say the gunman was a former employee at a store on the estate who was sacked in April. He took his own life after the killings.
There is no suggestion the killer was a member of a subversive or terrorist organisation, police say.
The shooting came a week before the first anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in the city.
Forty-nine people were killed in that incident.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said police had arrived at the scene of the shooting to find four people dead. A fifth employee died while being taken to hospital.

Police name two of London attackers

The pair and one other man were shot dead by police after killing seven people and injuring 48.

They drove a hired van into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing people in the area around Borough Market.
A vigil was held at Potters Field Park near London Bridge earlier to remember the victims.
NHS England said 36 people remained in hospital, with 18 in a critical condition.


Assistant Commander Mark Rowley said: "Inquiries are ongoing to confirm the identity of their accomplice."
He said the investigation into Butt began two years ago but "there was no intelligence to suggest that this attack was being planned and the investigation had been prioritised accordingly".
He added: "Work is ongoing to understand more about them, their connections and whether they were assisted or supported by anyone else."
Butt featured in a Channel 4 documentary last year about Islamist extremists with links to the jailed preacher Anjem Choudary.

May to form govt with DUP backing

Theresa May has said she will put together a government with the support of the Democratic Unionists that can provide "certainty" for the future.
Speaking after visiting Buckingham Palace, she said only her party had the "legitimacy" to govern, despite falling eight seats short of a majority.
She said she would join with her DUP "friends" to "get to work" on Brexit.
But Labour said they were the "real winners" while the Lib Dems said Mrs May should be "ashamed" of carrying on.
The Tories needed 326 seats to win another majority but, with 649 out of the 650 seats declared, they fell short and must rely on the DUP to continue to rule.
