I stopped in at No Frills today after work since they had amazing deals going on (half-prices!!
). I LOOVE the fleecy aroma therapy fabric softener so I decided to stock up a bit on it seeing that it is 3L (which one bottle will last me a loong time) and I just got in some manufacturer's coupons from colgate-palmolive company after emailing them a few weeks ago (perfect timing!!
)
This is what I got:
- Fleecy fabric softener 3L: $3.89 x5 = $19.45 - 5x $1 off manufacturer's coupon = $14.45
- Sunlight 2x liquid detergent 2.95L: $4.77 x2 = $9.54 - 2x $1 off coupons = $7.54
- Rice krispies squares = $1.88 - $.75 = $1.13
- Venus embrace razors = $5.99 x2 = $11.98 - $4 when you buy 2 = $7.98
TOTAL BEFORE COUPONS (ON SALE) = $48.42
TOTAL AFTER COUPONS: $36.67
At regular price: ~$101.59
For this one I HAD to calculate just how much it would've cost me to purchase them all at regular price, and came out with approximations:
- 3L of fleecy fabric softener at regular price is $6.99 (already at $35 for 5 without taxes!)
- 2.95 L of sunlight detergent is about $10 or $11
- Venus embrace is $13.99 each!
- And good ol' rice krispies are usually $2.99 or so
Add in the taxes...and that comes out to over $100!

After this little thrill, I went to WM for their ziploc bags, which I am sure everyone on here will be getting!!
So no surprise here: I got 8 boxes for only $2.08. Yaay!

The ziploc was on sale for $2 at Walmart. I had a coupon for buy 2 and save $4. I got them from Right@Home (http://www.rightathome.ca/default.aspx?sC=1). You need to create an account and they allow you to print off just one per account so I opened up four to get four coupons
