I often donate food with the girls but this month i am building a stock pile for our animal shelter, but promise to make one for our food bank by the end of the month.

I used coupons to buy 12 packages of Lipton Sidekicks - this amounts to almost $8.00. I`ll add 4 cans of soup to bring it up over $10. Thanks for the idea, Hollyquaiser!

ok, so here is my update....i just called Salvation Army (i will be donating to them so i hope is ok)... and they DO take cereal without the boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!! and since i have lots of the pepsi booklet coupons, i will be buying loooooots of ice tea's too.... she said they DO take them tooooo!!! woooohoooo ...ok so far i have:

2 catelli (my stockpile) FREE
4 catelli ($.25 each) $1
4 Peanut butter $.50/each = $2
1 scrubbing bubbles (my stockpile) = FREE
2 palmolive dish det (my stockpile) = FREE
2 VIMS (mine)= FREE
3 advil nights boxes (mine) = FREE
2 multibionta (mine) = FREE
6 toothbrushes (my stockpile) = FREE
4 toothpaste (mine)= FREE
2 nivea bar soaps (mine) = FREE
2 boxes of cereal (mine) = FREE
4 secret deodorant (mine) = FREE

ok that is it...

so far i spent only $3 still $7 left.... i will see how many drinks i'll get..

Hi Holly, took up your food bank challenge donated some baby formula. Went shopping at the local Safeway yesterday, when we first arrived to drop off our donation the Food Bank Donation Box was almost empty, later in the day we went back to Safeway and the Food Bank donation box was almost full!! Awesome! Have fun everyone donating and have a great day!!

Good Morning Holly and thank you so much for this great idea! I know most of us think about donating to the food bank but this is a great motivator for for me to actually get the food down there!!Here are my donations, most are from my stockpile, I didn't shop much this week as I have been sanding down a 35' deck all week.
