Just got a call from hubby, he's in emerg with a problem with his eye (he's blind in one eye and that one is having some kind of trouble today with very high pressure) He needs to go to a different hospital with better eye equipment and cannot drive. I'm waiting on the Mommas to come collect their children and heading to him, still planning to mail my package this evening but if things take longer at the ER than expected I will have to mail in the morning...Sorry buddy

Dont worry I am sure that your buddy will understand. Your hubby comes first! Hope everything is ok!

I just got home and found a missed delivery note in my box.

I'm not expecting any other delivers so if it's for this train, sorry buddy! DH is going to try and pick it up now, but it says pick up after 5pm so I might have to find a way to get it tomorrow -my van is acting up, just barely made it home without overheating. DH thinks the water pump is gone and called to a few places for quotes ($450). GAH! I just got new brakes ($700) 3 weeks ago. If it's not one things it's another. At least DH is home to deal with it. Always have to look at the silver lining!

I mailed mine this morning. So annoyed though, the post lady quoted me one price than charge me another (more than double) but didnt tell me - I didnt notice until I left the store. When I went she told me that asked for the most expensive way (seriously who says 'please charge me the most that you can' wtf??) & it cant be undone. So, buddy it should arrive on Wednesday (and if it doesnt CP is going to hear from me)!

I just got him home, we got the worst news we could have, his transplanted cornea is in the early stages of rejection He will require another transplant at some point, hopefully a few years from now. He's on drops and that should solve the symptoms for now. He's resting now. I have to go out this evening to pick up his drops so I will mail then and PM the tracking number. It's a good week for the boy to be at Nana's, some peace and quiet for hubby to rest up in...Thank you to everyone for their well wishes

He's on drops and that should solve the symptoms for now. He's resting now. I have to go out this evening to pick up his drops so I will mail then and PM the tracking number. It's a good week for the boy to be at Nana's, some peace and quiet for hubby to rest up in...Thank you to everyone for their well wishes

There...I dropped it off! PM'd the tracking number. Buddy I wrapped your stuff and ran out of normal wrapping paper halfway through and had to resort to Christmas paper, I'm sorry but the only roll I had left is the glittery stuff that leaves a trail of gliltter everywhere it goes..thus why it has not been used, but I wanted it to look pretty I hope you like it and that it doesn't make too much of a mess in your house!

I don't like the expensive part but liked that you mailed it. Sucks that she charged you double.
