Today was a great day shopping at Shopper's Drug Mart.
I tried to really plan this one out in order to maximize bonus points and gift cards. I went last night to scope out some pricing and then came home to get my lists together.
It's a great time to get some good deals on grocery items.
We went this morning and my husband and I each rang in an order so we could each earn a $20 gift card. Each of our orders came to a little over $50 subtotal.
Total coupons: $31
Total OOP: $107.42
Tax: $8.41
Regular points earned: 1370
Product bonus points: 3420
Store bonus points: 26030

Total points earned: 30820 (which is about $50 on a regular redemption day let alone Bonus redemption day!!)
Total gift cards earned: $20 x 2 = $40.00
Plus I got $12 in coupons I found in the store

all the other items were on sale too!!
With all the deals, sales, coupons, bonus points and gift cards, I feel like it's Christmas!!

I see that the John Frieda shampoo was Brilliant Brunette product! Wow-that stuff smells like chocolate. Nice price-have to see if it the same here in Ontario as it usually sells in the $8.99-9.99 regular price range or $6.99 on sale.

I totally lucked out. Usually my SDM has a sucky clearance section. But this time I was able to get a decent deal because I have the coupon $5WUB2 John Frieda.
