Disable REP feature?

Is there a way to disable the REP feature from your posts so the person who makes a post cannot be repped?

reps are a great feature on sc... if you agree with their post, or if it made you smile, or simply to say hello you can send a message in a rep.. if you don't want to rep anyone then don't

I feel it's redundant with the Like + Rep feature. I like to give reps+likes, but was wondering if i could disable myself from receiving them.

I agree it can be shocking to come on & have 40 notifications of likes & reps but you don't have to read what everyone says when they give you a rep

You get 40 notifications at a time? The most I've had is like 6 or 8 at a time, maybe I need to be more controversial!

lol not always but there was a couple days last week I didn't get to come on here for a day & the next day I had 38, the next one was 24 I think

I have a tough time seeing the difference between 'reps' & 'likes'... so I just give 'likes.' I think the ammount of reps you receive increases your stars or green bars though... There were candies as well not too long ago, that were awarded for # of posts I believe. I never have figured any of this out!

personally, i prefer reps.. i like to see the bars, stars and hearts accumulate no, that was not shameless rep begging, how could you even think such a thing!

If you actually care that people like your post...then i agree. But, not everyone cares that someone likes a general post. Some don't care about the number of stars you have etc for likes and reps.

I've made a message in my signature that says not to REP or LIKE me...if you like my post, just quote it and reply in the thread. Most forums disable rep feature due to members like GoJays fishing for reps like above.

why don't you just put me on ignore and then you never have to see another one of my posts again?... i'm about to do the same to you right now.. and also, i don't like anything you have say so you don't have to worry about ever getting any reps or likes from me.. i'm sure that will make you very happy, you're welcome
