I was able to go to Macy's on a day when they had 20% extra off 50% off clearance clothing and accessories.

I got a lovely matching pr of earrings, necklace and bracelet (had to sort through a pile of UNmatched jewellery) all for less than the original cost of the bracelet ($21).

I also got a nice pair of summer pants for the 20% + 50% off price and also 2 tops at $9.47 each.

I then went to CVS (a drug store) and found Wet and Wild makeup for .67 each - 3 eyeliners, 2 bottles of nail polish and 2 lipstick.

I was thirsty and got 2 Arizona Raspberry/Lemon iced tea drinks for $1.00. I also purchased 2 Colgate Total toothpastes by using their "Easy Bucks" rebates and coupons for $1.00. There were a few other things but I just thoroughly enjoyed my little shopping spree and cruised across the border without even being asked what I had bought.

Had a nice time.

I am so having usa shopping envy right now! great scores! In NY there are several grocery stores that double coupons up to $1 and one that doubles up to $2... and the drugstore deals are nothing less then amazing with their system. I have been studying the usa couponing system for a few months because i am planning a trip there myself.
