Thats weird because you should trust when you purchase a car the dealer..and often it is not the case....I will go see the mecanic service to evaluated when I will purchase a car hehe!!!

I have a feeling the chev dealership I went to once, may be one not to go to. I don't drive my truck that much, usually under 500 kms a month. I was in there for an oil change in April, and they called yesterday to see if I needed another one (I put 1200 kms on the truck since April, the oil is at 94% according to the monitor). I could see how an older person could get tricked into getting unneeded service.

I do make sure to get the oil changed once a year regardless of the monitor reading.
