got this in a postcard in the mail last week. got mine today. it's a 15 min makeup application. also gave me a sample of the tinted moisturizer she used and a seeded card to plant, water and grow wildflowers~!

They are all out at the Bay at the eaton centre. I got in just in time. They only had bamboo pink left but that was the shade I wanted anyway! They didn't do any makeup application since I was already wearing makeup from being at work all day. They just showed me this matte lotion for my face since I have really oily skin, and then she colour matched some foundation to my skin tone and gave me some foundation samples in really nice jars so I could try them out and see if any work with my skin

The lady flat out told me that I had to have a consultation, and that they were completely booked until wed! I hate sales associates like that.

^ I was told I needed to have the consultation too but she got me in for after work the same day since I couldn't wait around, so I just walked there after work and had the quick consultation and left with some samples...Kind of ridiculous you have to wait until Wed unless they are getting flooded with people bringing them in?

She actually said that it was so she didn't have to give them to everyone who wants it. God I hate ppl like that, it's almost like she wants them for herself. In my head I was like "If I was actually spending money here, you would so lose my business"

And this is why people think cosmetic counters and the people who work behind them are "stuck up". I would totally complain, only because she gives cosmetic sales people a bad reputation when in fact most of them are really, really nice and generous!!
