    Today my Wonderful Husband won 1 ASG Solider of the Year! I am so proud. He has had really rough last 4 year Taking care of me all through Chemo and surgeries, holding a full time job as Service Member of the armed forces and alot of the time a single parent to our two children. He deserved this!

    that is an awesome brag for sure army_girl29...you are very lucky to have a wonderful husband like that...I just reitred last year from the military after 25 years of service and I know how hectic schedules can be...he has my highest respect for being there for you....I wish you all the best in your treatments and wish all the best for your family....you are in my thoughts and prayers....

    Congrats to your Dh that certainly is an accomplishment, you must be bursting your buttons with pride right now.

    I come from a long line of military family including my Dh and myself and my two kids who are currently in the medical reserves
    while putting themselves though university . So I know a little of how hard he must work to receive such an honour , its good that he has been recognized he certainly sounds well deserving.

    you are right about that...I still miss the guys and keep in regular contact with all of them....when I first got into couponing all the guys thought I was joking....when they realized I was serious they tease me like crazy...they say I am no longer a Sharkie but i am now a guppie..lol....they even think it is funny that I would pack dh a lunch

    Guppie, thats wonderful. I love that the commodorie. I remember when I returned to work after starting Chemo this wonderful Sgt who worked on base came in and made a comment jokingly of course that my hair was cut improperly in the back, I quickly realized he didn't know I had a wig on. So i pulled it off smiled and said all better. The shock on his face was awsome. We laughed till we cried it made being bald better.
