The first cashier I went to wouldn't accept the Colgate coupon because it was travel sized and apparently it was "Only Full Sized Products," so I mozied on over to another cashier and she happily took it! It really depends on the person you go to so if one says no, don't give up!

I don't get what you mean by the cashier wouldn't take off the taxes on either?

If the coupon is for $2 off (e.g. the Stayfree) WM only gets back $2 from the manufacturer, so they charged you $1.97 + taxes and then took off the $2.

So really they did take off $0.03 towards your taxes, as they took the full $2 off.

What is it you were expecting them to do?
