cell phones are replaceable....wives (especially good ones) are not.....besides you should have checked your pockets first!

Hey it happens. I washed the remote of an automatic timer. I wondered where that darn remote went for months before discovering it in the pocket of a clean jacket just the other day.

ummm...Do your own launrdy and it won't happen again????
(joke joke)
I once dumped my phone in the swimming pool....at night....so i couldn't find it until the next day.
I tried the rice trick and although it worked to the point of giving me a phone that would light up and receive calls, anything outgoing didn't work right. Couldn't text or dial out so it was kind of a lost cause.
But there's no harm in trying.
sidenote: a couple years ago I thought I had misplaced the faceplate for the stereo in my car. Me & my then BF looked high and low then resigned ourselves to the fact that it was gone.
Low & behold.....after the winter thaw we found it on the driveway. (it must've slipped out of my pocket while I was brushing off the car)
funny thing was, It still worked fine!!! I plugged it in and everything was peachy! We never got around to replacing the stereo as it was in our "not often used" vehicle at the time.Last edited by Sunshyne1; Thu, Aug 9th, 2012 at 04:43 PM.
