How much do you pay for cheese?

I hate buying cheese unless it is the big big block (Kraft) for 9.99

I also hate when stores put the smaller block on "sale" for 9.99

I like buying good cheeses, and I only buy the little 350 gm (?) bar of medium cheddar once in a while.
Cheese is one of those things that you can't really cheap out on, otherwise you're just chewing on a hunk of mediocre 35% fat goo. If you're gonna eat something as indulgent as cheese it may as well be the good stuff

my kids love cheese, GULP, I buy small packs of craft with $2 off - it comes to 3.99 and no name is 4.99.

Block of cheese? who can afford it here, lol. BC is not cheese-eater friendly...

When I was in BC, Superstore would have these awesome 1/4 wheels of gouda for like 6.99, I moved to ONtario and a piece about 1/6 the size is the same price. I love gouda it's my favourite, i cried

I live in SW Ontario and I don't have any stores where the reg price for 700gr is under $5. I buy the 520g blocks, the regular price is around $6-$8 dollars. But I will only buy Sobey's brand now because they make cheddar without orange dye in it. They had it on sale in February for $3.99 - the name brand stuff typically goes on sale for $4.44 (but I don't buy it because it's orange). Hopefully it will be on sale again soon, as I'm almost through my last block - we go through about 5 a month.

I was going to post a reply but this is exactly what I would have said. I have never found cheese to be regular priced for under $5 and when it is on sale it is $4.44. I could NEVER stop eating cheese
