I don't shop Safeway very much because their prices are usually a bit higher. However, every once in a while I just happen to find a little gem worth buying there. This evening I was walking through the store and happened to notice that they had the Purex 3 in 1 laundry detergent on sale. The price was reduced from $7.99 to $3.99. I had just received 2 coupons for $2 off this product and was debating on whether or not I would use them. Everywhere I checked, even the sale price was still pretty steep. Needless to say, I did not have the coupons with me so I ended up walking back home to get them and then returning to buy the Purex. I paid $1.99 + tax each which I figure is a worthy deal, considering that I saved $6 off the shelf price on each one and the fact that it is a complete package, laundry soap, fabric softener and dryer sheet in one. I almost bought them a couple of days ago at LD where the sale price was $5.99. I am sure glad that I waited.

I got them them for that price too with a $2 coupon. tried them out and they work well, smell nice too!
