I haven't been feeling well all day today. At work yesterday I was shovelling the wonderful snow that mother nature was so generous in giving us, and I slipped and fell. I felt fine afterwards but when I got up this morning, my whole body was sore. I've been popping Tylenol Back & Body Pain all day, but I'm still in pain.
I finally ventured out to Walmart and Superstore tonight without the kidlets! Was so nice to get out of the house and go shopping without them. Its sooooo much easier when I'm by myself.
I hit up Walmart first and got these deals:
10x Advil Nightime - $3.97x10 = $39.70 - $40.00 = +$.30
(forgot to include in pic)
1x Hamburger Helper - $1.87 (no coupon but it does have the save $3.00 on beef with your next purchase of Hamburger Helper)
1x Lean Ground Beef - $3.00 - $3.00 = FREE
(used a previous $3.00 coupie)
1x Twix Chocolate Bar - $.98 - $.98 = FREE
4x Rolo Egg/Turtle Egg x2 /Coffee Crisp Egg = $.88x4 = $3.52 - $.88 = $2.64
1x Janes Chicken Burgers - $6.00 - $1.50 = $4.50
1x Bagged Salad - $1.50 - $1.50 = FREE
13x Addidas Deoderant - price matched Rexall as their cost is $1.99 - got them for $1.97 each - 13x$1.97 = $25.61 - $26.00 = $+.39
This past week our Food Bank burnt now and I'm going to be using these deoderants as part of my donation.
Total before coupons: $82.18
Total coupons used: $73.86
Total OOP: $8.32

plus HST (didn't figure out what that would be)
After Walmart, I decided to take a trip to Superstore. Wasn't looking for much but was enjoying the peace and quiet of being by myself.
This is what I got:
3x Hunts 12 Pack Pudding - $2.99x3 = $8.97 - $3.00 = $5.97
1x Vachon Joe Louis Snacks - $2.47 - $.50 = $1.97
Total before coupons: $9.47
Total coupons used: $3.50
Total OOP: $5.97
My combined total before coupons tonight was $91.65 and I used a total of $77.36 in coupons. My total OOP was $14.29

Burkeyswife, sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you can document it at work, so that if you have any problems months down the road, you can get paid sick time for this accident.
My relative had a fall like yours in January. He had surgery and is off work until April. He is starting physio. this month.
Shopping in the evening - don't you find that you get through the store faster with less crowds?

Great Buy. How did you find the hamburger helper with the coupons. I went today to walmart (close to St. Jacob) having hamburger helper in mind but, the ones I found were regularly priced with no coupons on them.

I know!
I got the coupies in a trade which arrived this week and was glad to see them on sale. We go through a ton of pudding between DH and my youngest DD. She's 3 (4 in June) and has one almost every night for a snack and if there is only one left, she will hide it on her dad so he doesn't eat it on her...

Thanks! I have only found the HH at Walmart. I've checked NF's, Sobey's and Superstore with no luck. I went to Walmart Friday at lunch time and spotted them and was so happy. I hate HH but couldn't pass it up because of the coupie
I've cut the coupie off the box, kept the pasta and have thrown out the spice

Great buy!
Too bad in QC Advil/Motrins/Tylenol can only do MIR - can't buy more than one in the same receipt.
