So, we were in Metro last night and I saw these little booklets, and a sign saying there were coupons inside. So I take one, and look at it.. someone had taken the coupons out! So I switch it for another, and alas no coupons. I flipped though all of them, and they were ALL couponless. There were marks where the coupons were detached.



Why would someone do that?!

Frustrating isn't it? I bought some Greenworks products a while back that had hang tags on them with coupons. Got home and opened them to see all the coupons had been removed. grrrr

Sadly, this happens a lot .. I would love to catch one of these B****es in the act!! I would most definately say something......lol

Oh my gosh. I just posted a little rant about this in the "things that make your blood boil" thread.

Like wtf? I want those coupons as much as you do. None of us want the information, so why be a jerk and take the coupons and put the pamphlet back? Worst part was I'd already left the store when I found out, so I was out of luck.

Ticks me off too.. I found coupons on the back of Danacol drinks that I wrote off at work..so, I attached them to new packs and someone had gone and taken all the coupons off and hadn't bought a single pack of drinks( I know how many I attached) *sigh* took me a long time to take the coupons off and attach with thick tape and for what? so someone can take to another store?? yeah..won't bother anymore.

There is someone locally who does that too, she carries a little pocket x-acto knife to cut them out

I guess the store notices more if you take a pile of booklets compared to a handful of coupons

LOL!!! I can't even imagine seeing someone whip out a knife in a store and take time to start cutting!

there is a coupon for cheese strings or something like that. Half the coupon is for one type of cheese, the other half is for the other cheese. Someone ever so thoughtful, took EVERY single coupon for the one cheese, and left the other half of the coupon on the pad. Really? you need'em all?
There is one local store that puts coupons up, and within 2 days there is just the empty cardboard left.
