i've always liked john mccain - he really is a true hero

When he was running last time I always felt sorry for him because he seems like a nice, reasonable, intelligent man being led by a bunch of ruthless people. I thought that all the garbage he had to face with Palin at his side was just so embarassing.

Shame McCain rushed into picking some-one with a vagina simply because his advisers wanted to get the Pro-Hillary democrat voters and those advisers though a woman...any woman would make a good running mate without vettting her properly....

I knew a lot of ex WWII servicemen while I was growing up peers of my unlces but at that time they were working.......but I knew far more ex WWI chappies because they were the peers of my grand-parents with whom I spent a lot of my youth..

Wasn't just the vagina, about half of Americans have them, I understand. She was also folksy and charming, a darling for the Christian right.. Unfortunately though, she was also monumentally ignorant of the world outside of Alaska. Scared the independants away. Shame really, McCain would have been a better president than Obama has proven to be, but she lost the election for him.

would have been a lot of fun to have either bachmann or palin.
but it is too bad for mccain, wishing he was a democrat,
