So I decided to try using a printed coupon at No Frills, they wouldn't allow it. The cashier said they don't accept any internet coupons at No Frills, and said most grocery stores in Oshawa, not just No Frills will not accept them...She said something about duplicating and counterfeit coupons?

Just wondering if that the normal experience for Oshawa? Any tips on stores in the area that will accept printed coupons is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to expand my binder and would love to be able to use my printer to save some money

No Frill at King&Townline doesn't accept printable coupon same as Fresh-co. Even I had been refused printed coupons at WalMart at Taunton road before.
But Shoppers ok with that.so try SDM,Good Luck!

I've called Loblaws customer service and specifically asked if No Frills will accept printable coupons. The answer was yes, they do- as long as it has "To the dealer" etc, a mailing address and is with in the expiration date.
I went to No Frills, tried to use a printable and was denied. Grr..
So now I am on the phone with them again. The girl on the line is actually calling the store as I wait to inquire about it! Talk about customer service!!

Ok, so bizarre!!!
I JUST called the No Frills at King & Townline about printables and was told "no problem - we accept them"...there was no hesitation in her voice at all. I even went so far as to ask if I could pick up a bunch of the Ocean Spray juice (some for me and some for the food bank) with my coupons and after a quick consult with the grocery manager, was told that there are no limits and it would be fine to do that.
Maybe if you are denied, speak to a manager and keep that person's name in your pocket for next time in case you have a problem. Just an idea...

Ooh, as a follow up to my call today..
The CS couldn't get a hold of anyone at the store (maybe they see it's HQ calling and are avoiding it.. lol). She said she'd keept trying and told me that if I encounter any more problems to call their line while I'm there, or tell the store to call so that HQ "can set them straight."
Awesome. Totally adding their # to my phone book.

grrrrr at Townline and King, that was where I had the problem...I'll have to try them again.
Walmart Taunton a cashier told me they have all been told that they ARE to accept printed coupons, if I have any problems to go to Customer Service and they will ensure the problem is addressed.
And thank you all for your responses

Yes, do try again. I went today and bought a bunch of things with printables and at first the cashier said no. But when I said I had called the day before to verify, once she checked, it was fine. Some of the cashiers are just behind a bit. She was perfectly nice afterwards...
