I miss Cheer-free (which disappeared into the grocery store sunset two years ago). Gain caused bad headaches at home for one person and two washes of the Gain-scented laundry in unscented detergent (PC Free) were needed to bring the scent/headache issue to a level where it was hardly noticed.
Ivory Snow is no longer a soap detergent but a synthetic detergent. The change was made about three years ago.
I have never heard of Sunlight Sensitive. The original Sunlight is up there with Gain in terms of how strongly scented the detergents are to my nose.
Woolite/Zero-the pink label (delicates) also seems to virtually have disappeared from shelves. I only see the Complete (orange label) or Dark or Extra Dark on the shelves in the stores that do carry the product.
OP-see if you can find out what the allergen is. You might have to write a letter to Tide in order to get your request taken seriously. That was the option offered by a different company when I inquired about an ingredient in their detergent product. Using the e-mail contact form did not result in the identification of the ingredient as it was considered a trade product secret/issue.Last edited by Ciel; Mon, Sep 10th, 2012 at 04:41 PM.
