Rogers tv box ?

we had Rogers TV services now we cancell and they said we dont have to return this box, what we can do with this box is it any use for this

Depends on the box. Give it to a friend or family who has Rogers. They can use it, but they'll have to register the serial # with Rogers in order for it to work. They just wont have to pay for the box (either buy or rent)

If it's an older model that they are phasing out, they may refuse to activate it. -- and might be why they told you to keep it.

Rogers is trying to phase out all older model boxes to push people into the digital devices; it's cheaper for them to tell you to keep it than it is to take it back & have to pay the recycling fees.

Whatever you do, don't get rid of it for at least a year. Just because one CSR tells you to keep it doesn't mean that they won't try to collect it.
