Hello folks!
I had a wedding this afternoon by a lovely pond. Bride had done all the decorations including the bouquets! Lovely!
BUT I FROZE TO DEATH! The wind was brisk - the clouds scudded by but never released their raindrops on us - yay! It was a real country wedding with the bridesmaids wearing cowboy boots and the groomsmen in blue jeans - everyone enjoyed themselves and "celebrated" their friend's union supportively!
DH has prepared supper and I wish I could help but I'm trying to get warm. I think we will head to the ER in London tomorrow as DH has had a backache for over a week - almost 2 and we are thinking it may be something in his kidneys that is going wrong. His urologist's department is in London and at least if he needs a specialist, they will have someone on-call that knows about what he has been through.
I offered to take him today after the wedding, but the Blue Jays-Yankees games won out.:rolleyes:
We are getting our diningroom/stairwell/livingroom painted Monday. We've had the paint for quite a while but the summer has been filled with other priorities. The fellow who does the painting is leaving for 2 months in Florida at the end of this month, so we had to fit it in somewhere soon.
I have to go back to London on Tuesday to see the respirologist to see if they are recommending a sleep-apnea breathing machine for me. It's been a long wait. So if I do need it, we'll have to lug 2 breathing machines on our travels. I'll have to also re-arrange my bedside table as I just have a small one so that DH had room for his breathing machine on the other side of the bigger bed we now have.
We're quite a sight when we hit the sack, what with mouth guards, breathing machines, extra pillows to protect our backs, socks when it's cold - ah that's love!
Remember when we all used to wear curlers to bed, ladies??
Well, I guess I'll watch the Blue Jays too. Have a good evening!

cool temps, rainy day....so made 2 pans Manicotti and 2 small lasagna's. I am really tempted to try that Red Lobster cheese biscuit mix too, but enough carbs! Enjoy the Jays game today ( is anyone is watching )
