Anyway I start work tomorrow at 10am. He called and asked how today was for but I said I'm just getting over my cold how's tomorrow. He said I understand because his wife is sick too so how's tomorrow at 10am and I said great thanks I'll be there. My aunt thinks I should have just gone in today, I hope he doesn't regret hiring you. I just don't want to go in first day coughing in his face lol. But I'm rarely sick and almost never call in sick even if I am sick.

Toss of the coin, really....but tomorrow, just apologize for turning down the job today, and simply say you were conflicted whether he'd hold that against you, or would he rather you'd have come in.Quote:

Thanks, he didn't say hey you start today. He asked how's today for you. I will definitely talk to him tomorrow about it though. I'm drained and coughing and wouldn't be able to give him my full attention. Tomorrow if I rest up today I should at least be a bit better and more prepared. :)

Well here I am with soft music playing (instrumental only) and a pile of papers spread out before me ----It must be TAX TIME---- Yippee- cha- yay!!!!

Got to get back to it and take advantage of a "nothing-much-to-do" time.
Down day for DH. He's sleeping. They say that we won't find anything out from the lab until at least tomorrow.
It's a paint store and someone will be with me for 3 weeks of training. Also hate dealing with customers coughing in their face lol. Well not literally in their face. ;)

I think you'll be ok @cabmonk - as you said, plenty of rest, and talk to him tomorrow. Besides, it's better than working a day or two, then taking a few sick days.
