Nice weather today.
Not really tired.
Dh had a bit of a rough day. Just feeling a bit punky and off.
Groundhogs are awake and peeking out of their hole. One venturing right out across the field.
Garter snake basking in the sun.
Our dd out west got about a foot of snow - blizzardy weather. They are snuggled in with fireplace on.

Am I excited??!! You becha!!! Another nice walk with Jenny will be in order while "the boys" are at Science North. I'll be cutting out an apron that our DD wants me to make for a gal who made them all dinner at the Collingwood resort last month when they all take her out for dinner, so must get that done soon. Then the baby quilt, then ME!! I have so many things I want to sew for myself!

20 yesterday here too...dried 4 large loads of laundry outside. Take that Hydro One!!! ( although I am use that I will be penalized come Oct.

Just waiting the 'the boys' to come home from SN, then taking him to the Gap because DD gave us a couple of coupons to spend on him...$50 off $100, $25 off $50, so we're off to spend them on him..:)
I chatted with her today and told her to "come home right now!" because goodness...earthquakes in Japan and Equador and she's in California?!! They all heard about them there, and she said it's ridiculous how homes are perched there, with both sides of their little area bordered by cliffs to the ocean...!! Anyhoodles, everyone is gone except them, they stayed an extra day to decompress...had a lovely gala last night...a Natasha Bedingfield performed for them after the dinner; I had to look her up, I couldn't pick her out of a line-up if I had to!:redface: But DD said it was great! The night before, they had Powerhouse performing, and I guess anyone down Hamilton way would recognize them...the company flew them in for the performance, evidently. I had to look them up, too...:redface:...I'm not exactly in "tune" with today's music...nothing after the 60s...:)
It's 18 in our back yard right now!!! Is it too early to turn the central air on?!!! I tried sitting outside with Jenny on the swing, but it's too hot without the gazebo roof on...but the snow is almost gone!!!! Yes, yes...too exciting!!

It's 18 outside, which is nice, and it's sunny, which is nice.
However, I have three elements going on the stove, plus the oven on - both doors open, fan blowing and it's so humid/hot in here!
Biggest problem in this house is my husband and me being polar opposites when it comes to temp.

The speaker at our DD's awards gala last night was Robert Ballard....she just couldn't get over how fascinating his stories were and what a great speaker he is!
Oh, I forgot to ask if he had a book there for sale...and maybe an autograph?!!
