Oh, I know you mean well, my dear Friend, but "cosy" is getting into a hot car and revving up the air-conditioner!!

Tuna Casserole
2 C elbow macaroni, boiled to el dente or whatever you prefer ($1.27 for 900 grams...2 C = 400 gm, so .61 for one recipe)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (.57 Walmart Great Value)
1 can tuna (white or light, whatever you prefer) (.98 Walmart)
1/2 can of milk
pepper
TOTAL: 2.16 for a big whack of tuna casserole that makes enough for a couple of days or some to freeze!
Boil macaroni, drain, add tuna, soup, pepper, mix together, slip into the oven until heated through!
Sigh....it's the "Mom" in me....I just can't spend money on stuff I can make myself and don't want others spending it, either.
I hope you try the recipe, though!
You can also add other stuff...I love hot sauce, green onions, peppers, crushed crackers with butter on top, other veggies (canned works well)...enjoy!! :P
I used to hide veggies in mine so the brood ate them when they were younger. Now they eat veggies without being hidden.
I am biting my nails literally at this game - Donaldson just lost the ball and the game!!! Arrg!
Yes,Lynn, those kind of days.
That was such a disappointing loss for the Jays tonight. :bawling:
J.D. ws just unbelievably awful.
Yes yes I know lol. I'm not buying tuna casserole though. ;) I actually went to culinary school. So I often enjoy making dinner and baking. :)
I have made my own tuna casserole in past. I even made a stuffing casserole lol. Used boxed stuffing instead of pasta. Was weird but good. ;)
You did??!! When did you go to culinary school? Where?! Oh, I love to cook and bake too, and our Grandson, whose 8, loves watching those cooking show competitions! You wouldn't believe the comments he makes, lol...he sits there like a judge and says things like, "Well. That's a mistake. You don't mix it in like that.", and things like that...it's hilarious!
He also enjoys renovation shows like Texas Flip and Move...good think our DD and SIL enjoy watching them with him! Esp our DD!
So DISH!! Where'd you do your culinary studies??
the highs and lows of watching that eventual loss for the Blue Jays were almost too much for me to take!!! But then watching the NA hockey team win in O.T. earlier today was nice and just now I still believe Team Canada is up 3-1 over Euro Team, so all in all it will balance out.
Blue Jays are off tomorrow, man seems like they could use a day off to regroup and get a new strategy?
@cabmonk that was very interesting that you went to Culinary School! I do understand the single guy mentality though and you shopping for premade foods, my eldest DS on his own is guilty of that. Have a lovely evening everyone, i just got to try to get a solid nights sleep, no more tv.
Lol, Lynn I went to George brown college's cullinary school in Toronto. Probably 1991, 1992. I'm getting old lol. Then I did a couple internships at hotels. Sheration Toronto, Marriott Eaton center and one that is now a crowne plaza I think. Off bed. ;)
Can't sleep - hip hurts - off to physio again tomorrow. Brain stopped working a while ago.
avon, hope you are better today and that you got some rest.
Hoping ALL of us stop hurting!
