I am eating dim sum for lunch right now
ohh wonder who it is.. hubby and I saw a car the other day here. but he swears it shouldnt' be here or anywhere close to her as the uniqueness of it belongs to a certain person and he was like wtf is that car doin here.
i had mashed potatoes and chick peas mashed. fancy schmancy huh.
lunch?
I'm having an apple, 2 point popcorn and for dessert a 2 point WW cake thing.
Trying to leave a decent amount of points for dinner tonight, because if we go to my mom's it wont be diet friendly (she's starting on the weekend, so I'm sure she's trying to get all her junky foods in first. lol)
I don't like cars like that...reminds me of cartoons from the 80's lol
everyone enjoy your day so far?
Hiya win, very cool car!
My day has just gotten better - just got an email saying I won a year's worth of Tropicana Orange Juice! YAY!
(Otherwise, I hurt and feel kinda crappy....)
so far ok. up early, had a nap, sent hubby off to work. now i have about 5 minutes left of peace before my oldest gets home and im off to get some work done around here.
My day is going like Dan's
So much for taking a sick day, the emails and calls haven't stopped all day
Has anyone else had what I refer to as a "Sleeping with the Enemy" moment???
Clearly I need DH to come home, I'm too on edge.
I woke up this morning and as I'm standing in the kitchen pouring the kids cereal, I turn my head and see the living room curtains are open. Not just opened but pulled back neatly behind the hold back things (no idea the technical name). I froze and started to panic. My only thought was SOMEONE IS IN THE HOUSE!!! Those curtains were closed when I went to bed. OMG, OMG, OMG!!! (reminds me of the sleeping with the enemy scene where the husband finds her and re-arranges her cupboards so the labels are facing out).
Anyway, I finally managed to calm myself and think rationally and asked DD if she went in the living room, of course the answer was yes. Then I asked if she opened the curtains, again the answer was yes. So, I asked how and she said she used one of the toy buckets (flipped it over).
Whew, clearly I am going crazy! Who in the world would break into a house and open the curtains and tuck them neatly in the hold backs? Geesh, I need a vacation!!! lol
Oy, lola, I understand you being scared, but it's funny once we get the explanation!
Sounds like a movie I'd like to see!
(and the thingees are just called tiebacks)
Hahaha, that is exactly how I feel Dan! Thanks all for the kind words... I feel so lucky to have found him :) CasualKiss is an old school dating site, it's been around for awhile I think. It's funny, I rarely ever go on there and I just happened to log in to check for messages that day and he had sent me one!
