I did something to my knee.
Good morning, everyone!
Just dropping in to whine....my knee is in so much more pain than yesterday, I couldn't move in bed without being in big pain, and hubby had to help me out of bed this morning!! It's in the front of my right knee, just below and to the left of my knee-cap and it feels as if a knife is buried in there! I can't bend that knee. Hubby wants to take me to emerg but I don't consider it an emergency, but he feels that I'll be x-rayed there and that I'll have results sooner than if I go to the clinic.
Otoh...with us leaving town for NY on the 9th...maybe he's right...I can't wait for a couple of weeks for the results...but it's still not a real emergency!! I'm getting dressed now, but I still don't know where to go.....:(
Sorry for the whine......but it's just so weird because I didn't fall or do anything to that knee....hubby thinks it's perhaps a bone-chip that did something.....not fair before my trippy!!!
OTOH...I hope you all have a MUCH better day than me today!!! And yes...dreary dark here today, too....Isn't there a word for that in grammar? Pathetic fallacy or something? Am I rambling???? It's probably the Aleve I shouldn't be taking...............

Sorry to here about your knee Lynn :( I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. I was sitting at the bus stop and when I went to stand I had that exact, sharp pain that you described. It went away on it's own within a few minutes and it's never happened again since *knock on wood* Maybe just take it easy today, try not to put too much pressure on it.
oh Lynn.. go in and get it checked hun better to be safe than sorry. you don't want to be on your vacation and have this trouble. wouldn't make for a fun trip. get er looked at then deal with that. take care of yourself.

I've seen that happen before...not actual seen it..you know what I mean.
My BIL used to be a goalie, and his knees are all busted up, he still has little fragments of bone floating all around that area...
oh...full house in here today this morning :)
