CONGRATS cabmonk, it's soooo exciting! They must have known already after you left that they were going to hire you!!! So when will be your first day at work? How did the orientation go (assuming you are reading this after you have returned, lol)?
Goodmorning everyone. I see there is a nasty snow warning out for almost all of the lower Canada region. My dd said that last night, they already had a few inches of snow and forecast for lots more, brrrr.
Its early this year, and I feel so sorry for all the folks in NY area, not even got power back on due to Sandy, and now hit with snow. Talk about a slap in the face.

Weather forecast here for the next several days, is for temps in the low to mid 80's with a chance of rain on Tuesday and Thursday, but when they call for rain, it usually doesn't, but if it does, it's usually for 10 or 20 minutes.

2 hour interview last night and this morning is to discuss the hours, pay etc with store manager. I don't know when orientation is yet. They said they would have liked to do the meeting with manager earlier then 9.30am because they know I worked all night but he's not in till 9.30am. :)

Ok off now, done work at 7am. Won't be able to use computer at new job but that's ok I only do it here because I'm bored. ;)

Took Marley for a walk yesterday afternoon, and at the back of our park we have a "fishing pond" the last few days, I've seen this small gator, maybe about 2 or 3 feet long, sunning himself on a log on the edge. Yesterday I decided to bring my camera to get a pic of him, and he wasn't on the log, figures!!!
We walked over to the dock, and I was looking around to see if he was sunning himself in another place, but I didn't see him. What I did see though, was this guy laying under the dock....and yes, I picked up Marley and we made a beeline back to the road. I didn't realize we had some big fellas there too :shock:

I just got back from the US yesterday, got lots of Christmas shopping done.
Was interesting to be there for the election and seeing the different reactions. Some people were super happy, some were right p.o'd.

well good morning everyone. finally alone here for more than an hour its nice. lots planned if i can get off my butt. need to pack a gift/wrap hopefully bake some banana muffins. pick up some bigger candy canes for a project as minis well they just don't do it. and to try and work on some more xmas ideas.
