Yep crazy weekend!
Kids party was lots of fun. DS got a Fisher Price train set and DD got a FurReal maze thing (rabbit runs around on the tracks) from Santa. And waaaaaay to much candy, they each got a huge bag. I'll have to help them eat it, you know because I'm a good mom. lol
I was even able to get DD 2 new pairs of shoes for $40 at the factory outlets (scratch and saved 40%) today.
Overall great day!

Phew, put in a full day of Christmas and birthday shopping today! Still couldn't find the beyblade battle dome so I had to settle for something else for DS :( We're celebrating his birthday tomorrow because I won't see him on his actual birthday... he went to bed early so he could fall asleep and his "birthday" would come faster ;)
Finally feeling a bit better this evening. Got all done up, planned to go out with the BF tonight. I finally get done getting ready, which was a feat cause I was constantly feeling like I looked gross due to being sick.. then I find him passed out on the couch. I just turned off all the lights & went to bed. It's now 11:08pm. Too late for anything now. After being cooped up for more than 4 days, this just really bums me out. :(
oh Beth.. that sucks. unfortunately minus the bf on the couch thing i've had that happen a few times.. makes ya feel more ill.. so sorry hun. get some rest. maybe he'll make it up tomorrow morning with breakfast in bed.

Morning all. It's raining here again today. Yesterday it stopped about 8am and actually hit 81 and the sun came out, but I already had planned to do some baking :( Today it's again raining this morning, so we're off to the gym in a bit and hopefully the rain lets up and we can go for a swim and just take in some sun.

Good morning, Holly....everyone....off this morning to babysit grandson, since our DD and her DH are in Toronto doing some shopping and visiting...hubby slept overnight in their guest-room and I came back here to be with Jenny..:) I'll be heading over there after my cuppa and shower, and the little one and I will be baking rainbow cuppycakes this afternoon (using 3 squirt bottles, each with a different colour of cake batter...should be some interesting combinations!)
Hope the rain stops for you, Holly and you get some of that baking done! :P

Had a few customers overnight at our walmart. For sat night he electronics guy said as of 3am he had sold a couple big tv's and xbox's. I helped a couple pick up 3 air hockey games and someone else an exercise bike. Between 5.30am and 7am ran like a chicken picking up all the empty skids and then the full skids of merchandise. Finally punched out at 7.07am..Then bought an air hockey game for my 7yr old cousin and my cousin was like shopping again were you?;)
