Good for you, Abby for going in...and having all those tests done. So some things got stroked off the list of possibilities, and if its viral, that's also good to know...that's why those antibiotics aren't helping at all. I hope you receive more results by Friday...and wish you could stay off work, but I know it's like telling that to my own daughter. I just hope that whatever you have isn't able to be passed along to your class by now....

Once he realizes that he has nowhere to live, maybe. just maybe he will realize and admit he has a problem. Once that hurdle is conquered, he can start to heal and seek help.

Putting blocks won;t work, as you said yourself, he gets through them. It's your home, but, it's not your addiction, it's his. I know it seems harsh, especially being so close to Christmas, but maybe thats a blessing. Perhaps he will realize what he's losing.

Abby, I'm here if you need to talk or if I can help you with any information you may want or need. ALSO...I'm so proud of you girl for going to the ER. I just wish you would stay home. I'm praying that what you have is nor was is contagious. Spreading something so horrible around especially at this time of year is not a good thing. PLUS, you NEED rest girl. I'm sending you my prayers today for health and luck with your ds.

Addiction is hard to deal with, one of my brother-in-laws has a problem... It's especially tough when everybody isn't on the same page.

My favorite Boston Pizza food is the perogi pizza... yum!

Sick again today after feeling better for most the week... fever, headache, tired, sore tummy, the works. Powering through it, we have my DH's company Christmas party tonight!

He's doing it to escape his real world, so there's a lot to deal with there (depression, anxiety, poor social skills are some examples).

He needs therapy - individual (cognitive behavioural therapy), maybe family therapy, and possibly going to a treatment centre.

my son will be 20yrs old in January
He started a college program in September but by November he was starting into the gaming again:( We talked to him and it died done for awhile. But the last few days have been totally out of control:(
He has been in 1 a week concilling but at age 18 he refused to go back:(
We cut off his Internet totally but he still gets on:(
He is a smart guy and addicted so he will do anything to have what he wants.

I need soup today:)

finally got my errands done minus one thing. which im going to get hubby to help me get. its really cool and windy here. not liking it.. only means snow is around the corner.

Taking a break from wrapping.

Tried to set up DS's little tykes basketball net but I can't get the stupid netting on. DUH! Just call DH and he's on his way home so I'll let him do it. lol. He already has a Doll Crib to set up. As soon as I opened the box and saw screws I put it aside for him. hahaha. Tools are NOT my thing. Wont even try. hahaha

I remember the year DD got a Cozy Coupe car. I insisted DH put it together the night before and he argued with me. I kept saying it's no fun to get a toy and not be able to use it! He said he could be it together in 10 minutes...

2 hours later it was finally put together! When did they start making kids toys so hard to put together! lol.
