Anyone want to join the Survivor pool??? There's only 6 spots left.... :)
I'm not a survivor fan :(
I'm super excited that American Idol starts on Wednesday!!!
My highway is closed....no shopping for me today. On a positive spin; my two teens stayed in the city last night and just hubby and I at home in a storm ;).

I am but not... This season seems weird with 4 judges. And they are weird choices for judges too... Last season I found it so boring, I stopped watching after the top whatever was announced. I like the auditions and even hollywood week (or wasn't in Las Vegas last year?).
DH is in the middle of a blizzard right now. He has no TV, Internet or regular phone. Although he cell seems to be okay.
He's super annoyed because he didn't work yesterday or today (today is a double time day, yesterday was time and a half). So, he's out 3.5 days of pay and there's nothing to do at the job site.
So not used to having lazy days. lol. Decided to do laundry.
Now to get energizer for a craft...
afternoon my lords ladies and gentlesith.
OK...darn it all. We're back from the market, dh was looking at some hand made cowboy boots, but they were all to small for his massive arch and couldn't get any on :) He really doesn't need and 8th pair of boots :shrug:Sooooo, we almost got out of the market unscathed. No antiques of any value to speak of, so we made our way through, looked at this and that, and even made our way back to the truck with all our money intact in our pockets. As we were pulling out of our spot, I said to dh, look at that guy, selling those tiny puppies over there (from the back of his half ton), no water, shelter from the sun, food, nothing. So dh pulls around that way and puts my window down and says to the guy "How much are those dogs and what are they?" The guy says in broken English....wiener dog cross with shih Tzu ............. and he says I want $35 a dog. My hubby throws the truck in park right there, blocking the parking lot, gets out and tells me to get out. We go over and look at these tiny dogs. The guy say's they are 4 weeks old  I told him there's no way he should have them away from their mom, and he grabs one by the neck and say's wanna see one. I told him to let me see the teenie one all huddled in the corner. Poor little thing doesn't weigh more than 8 or 10 ounces.
Ya, you guessed it. We stopped at Petco on the way home, got some momma formula and a tiny bottle, some mousse puppy food for beginners and of coarse a tiny sheep toy. The entire way home this tiny thing laid on my dh's shoulder and didn't move, it just slept. I'm so worried about the poor thing. The guy said he was feeding it homogenized milk  NO nutritional value there! So, once arriving home, Marley had to do the third degree of sniffing, then when I placed it on the floor, she went over and laid next to it. She let it move closer and snuggle her, god bless her soul. After I fed the tiny thing, it crawled under the coffee table, and was just lying there looking around. Marley went over and laid next to the table on the floor, she didn't leave until the little thing fell asleep. Now I need to name her, but I'm so afraid that she won't make it. We're going to take her to the vet on Monday (if she's still here) and do our best in the meantime. So folks, her she is, the newest edition to our family...no name yet, any suggestions??? What do you think? http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/members...-new-puppy.jpg http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/members...-footstool.jpg
omg holly! how about..lucky lucy (since you rescued her)?
i used to work at a vet clinic and we would hear some really funny pet names. these 2 kittens came in to be spayed/neutered and their names were 'blue boat' and 'yellow boat' (kids named them), 'gohome' <--dogs name, trying to think of some others...
aww can't wait to see pics.
