Looks like I won't be getting a new Death Star
Quote:
The Administration shares your desire for job creation and a strong national defense, but a Death Star isn't on the horizon. Here are a few reasons:
- The construction of the Death Star has been estimated to cost more than $850,000,000,000,000,000. We're working hard to reduce the deficit, not expand it.
- The Administration does not support blowing up planets.
- Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?
Morning everyone. Well, the weekend is here, what's everybody's plans? Me, I will probably be off to another flea market as soon as dh gets home from coffee with the neighbor. Used to be us ladies that did that, oh noooo, dh and the neighbor here, Jim, go out most mornings between 5 and 5:50am to Whataburger and get their free seniors coffee. Guess they meet up with a bunch of guy's from other rv parks around here and gossip  and they have the nerve to talk about women, :lolsign:
lol @ Holly.
It's true, isn't it? Guys gossip just as much, if not more than women!
Not much on the agenda for us today. Just a quiet relaxing day at home. DD is exhausted from her first week at JK. Tomorrow is a brunch and birthday party so today is R&R day.
Yep, he just got back and is jabbering on about how Mike over at Mission Bell is thinking about getting divorced because the Mrs. isn't interested in...anything...anymore  Men, they can't keep a secret either :lolsign:
I guess I should get up and get some breakfast started so we can start our day....and yes, I cook all the meals (unless I'm sick, and on a few other occasions), but dh does all the dishes. It's sorta nice. Back in the day, we both worked and raised the girls, but I did the housework, laundry, cooked, dishes etc. Dh did all the ironing (he's an upholsterer by trade and German,, so very particular how things look) now he does all the dishes, will do a load of laundry if one is there, helps with the grocery shopping (yes even using coupons), and anything else I ask him to. Since I became sick some years back, he did a 180...guess he realized how valuable I was
Aw, that's so nice to hear Holly.
I know everytime DH leaves for work, it doesn't take long for me to really appreciate all he does here! lol. It's hard when he's gone and everything falls on me. My biggest pet peeve is the garbage, I LOATHE doing it. That's DH's job. lol.
or snowblowing. ugh.
I just learned how to snowblow last week because DH always does it. I never needed to know how. lol. I'm extremely grateful for the rain and warmer temperatures right now. lol.
It seems both sexes take each other for granted, and the strange thing is, we don't even realize it till our partner is gone. I always let dh do the outside stuff too, most of the time, I loved gardening though so I always did the beds outside.
So true. Everytime I hear someone complain that there husband doesn't do anything, I have to wonder. Do they REALLY dont do anything or do you just not notice because it's the little things. It really does open your eyes when you're apart. As much as I hate DH being away, it's also a good way to appreciate each other. I just wish he didn't have to leave so often!
