One of my older sisters and her husband went last year, and absolutely loved it of course, and my niece (her daughter) is going this spring with her husband.

I am obsessed with Paris lol My apartment is Paris themed, I have a BIG picture BF got me of Paris hanging over my couch, its of the river and you can see the Eiffel tower in the back. I have Eiffel tower candle holders, etc etc lol Its a city I will visit one day for sure! We are hoping to go to Serbia and Germany next summer (2014) so we would like to make a stop in Paris for a few days then, his cousins who live in Germany said it cost about 40 euros to go by train to Paris from Frankfurt!
Tonight we are going to Montana's for supper but Im sure tmrw her and I will cook something yummy up.

cabbie, read the lease very carefully! Is it for longer than a year?
We never rented unless there was no lease, but I realize in a lot of cities pretty much all rentals have them.
Don't forget to set up renter's insurance!

Natalka I was watching tv this AM and they had a lady on her name was Natalka - I thought of you!
I think its a year, but will see everything when I go down there. They still need to call me to go in and pay and sign. So far they have been dealing with my cousins father in law because he is friends with them and they told him I got the apartment but they would call me when they were ready since it's a brand new apartment. I might even move in a couple days earlier then the first since there are going to be a lot of people moving in.

Yeah first and last but just a bach apartment. Its an older building but reno'd from top to bottom with all new appliances. They are even putting murphy beds in all the bach apartments. Also have these loft apartments for $900 but I didn't need that lol.Quote:

Gah, next month our rent goes up by $200 - that's a heck of a hit at once. About a year and a half ago, it went up 50, then six months later another 100.
It's really, really gonna hurt - and because we are pretty much living bare minimum, there are few places to cut.
Gotta figure out something, though, because it's not like that money will suddenly appear. Husband got a bonus a few weeks ago, so that will be a cushion for a while...
cab, was a one bedroom way more expensive than a bach? I just couldn't handle the latter, and I've lived in teeny-tiny little places!
I hate when that happens..I would hate to move in at $650 and next year its $1000 or something.
