Good morning, everyone....gosh it's been a while since I've been on this chat thread...I hope all's been well with everyone....I don't know where the time goes lately....I crash in the afternoons, hitting a wall around 2-3pm, so I'm practically catatonic then without even the energy to be on here! How sad is that?! LOL!!!

It's Ash Wednesday (you know when lent begins).
To those of you who is doing anything (goal/challenge) for the next 40 days good luck.
I didn't know if I would do anything this year (haven't for the last couple of years)
For years I tried to give up Chocolate for 40 days and it just never worked.....
But a few days ago I got an idea......
Frugal Lent - you know like frugal February (but I didn't do that, wasn't prepared)
So for lent I will try to be as frugal as possible spend as little as possible. (let see how that goes...high expectation on my part)
Anyone else doing anything for lent? If so what?

I don't follow Lent, although as kids our family did..can't remember what or how, it was so long ago....
I try to keep the faith all year long as well as I can...I think God's pretty happy with that effort......:)

I'm back from the bank..first things first I opened a tax free savings account. I will start to put $25 a month in there starting march 1st. Second he was all set to approve me for a $5000 line of credit but the system wouldn't let him because I only have my health card as photo id. I'm going to apply for the new ontario id since I don't have a drivers license and made another appointment with him apr 2nd 10am(gives enough time to apply for the new id and get it in the mail).

heh Luv.. we 'follow' Lent as well. well at least hubby is hoping we do.. we all have our give ups for tomorrow and his plans for future endeavors. although with the latest im not all jumping for joy on that one.

us.. well were all just getting things done.. really need some warm weather, sunny skies.. lots of vitamin D.. and to lose a few pounds.. well not the kids.. anyway off to get a few goodies done for tomorrow.

Off wed and thurs night but need to lay down for a few hours. Haven't really slept for last 2 days because of continuing work in the building keeping me up. Haven't heard any of the same noise yet today. :wave:
