Good morning, everyone! It was nice to sleep in this morning; our Grandson is a doll, but whew....too busy for these old people! We're tuckered out! I'm surprised my Hubby went golfing this morning!

The wedding was absolutely spectacular, and there were people from all over the world there; Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland, Brazil, Belgium, Sweden ……………… , so very interesting conversations.
Everything was so elegant; I guess I was born on the wrong side of the tracks; I've never seen anything like that.
Because we were in wine country, there were waiters refilling our glasses wherever we went.
The wedding breakfast on Saturday morning was actually in the vineyard, and I mean in the vineyard. The tables were set up between the rows of grapes. They even served wine @ breakfast.
There was an afternoon celebration, another dinner, and a goodbye breakfast on Sunday, so I stayed an extra day.
I haven't had that much to drink, well, I don't remember ever having that much to drink. LOL
I still feel hung over, even though I didn't get drunk.
I only got about 4 hours sleep each night, so I think I'll be catching naps throughout the next few days.
This isn't a great pic, but it gives you an idea of where we had breakfast.

@22hicks , what a sweet picture and so glad you had such a wonderful time! And that you got a little tipsy; I'm sure it was all well worth it!! With the formality of the event, I was a little surprised the groom wasn't in a tux...but perhaps it was up-scale without pretention, right? :tongue: Good for them!!
Well, you've all seen that Winner's commercial where the gal regrets not buying that dress?? Well that ALMOST happened to me! I was carrying around a gorgeous David Jones handbag, reg $100 for $50...had it in my cart....moseyed around the store with it, and at the last minute put it down and came home. Flash forward a couple of hours: I went back, hoping no one else grabbed it while stupid me was gone, but hah!! There it was, right where I left it! So I bought it.
Honestly!! WHY do I put myself through things like that?!!
Ladies: pick the dang thing up, bring it home, THEN decide whether or not you want to keep it! :-~
How is everyone else's day going???
I just rec'd an email from my SIL..apparently my brother had a stroke this afternoon, so thank goodness he was in the hospital at the time; his right side was affected, and he lost his speech, although she said he's better this evening. Gosh...what next?! First the toe amputation, leg-swelling and subsequent draining, then rapid heart rate leading to confusion, then a foot blister on his other foot, and new rapid heart rate, confusion and today a stroke!
A brand new Granddaughter, his DD's wedding in September, and this is all just too scary!!!
Wow Lynn, he really is going through so much. All we can do is pray it gets better for him. :hug:
Well, I've been sleeping on and off all day, but don't feel any more rested.
I've got to snap out of it soon; I've got so much to do in the next couple of days.
As I think i've told you, I'm leaving for Florida on Friday, for 2+ weeks, returning on the 7th, but I've got a ton of 'stuff' to do before I leave.
