Sorry to hear about your DH Nat, glad he is okay though.
I am a bit disappointed, the kids did not bring home much chocolate from school today, so I have to go buy some.

Morning everyone. Soooo, special dinners, flowers???? How was everyone's Valentines day? My dh got me a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers :) I think they're beautiful, they take up the entire side counter in the rv http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/members...6-img-1051.jpg http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/members...7-img-1049.jpg I made him his favorite dinner. It was a wonderful day. It was a warm evening so after dinner we took Marley and Maggie for another walk, it was a nice way to finish off the day :)

My husband got me a gorgeous flowering potted plant, can't remember the name, never heard of it before, but it's beautiful and smells so sweet; there are a lot of buds, so I like looking forward to new blooms.
Now, he always gets me a very extravagant card - English isn't his first language, so he searches forever to find one which says what he wishes he could write (that's what he told my son) - and it made me cry, cry, cry.... they always do, so heartfelt!
We had a nice supper together - got my husband's fave takeout (KFC, don't judge!) - no room for the cheesecake I made, so we'll have that today, lol!

About my son's dental appointment yesterday - dentist couldn't work on it, but filed down the parts of the tooth which were poking him in the cheek. He has a cavity in that wisdom tooth, as well as the one on the other side - but before they can be pulled, he has to go get specialized x-rays done at the university. What's good is that he doesn't have pain, since he has to wait to get that apt, then back to the dentist.
Good news may be that his health insurance from work might kick in in time - fingers crossed!
Nat, sound like you had a fabulous day too. As the years go by in our marriage, probably same for you, my dh seems to get more inventive and loving on Valentines day. I made him his favorite chocolate layer cake for dessert, and he ate so much dinner he had to wait until later in the evening. Then I spotted him with a HUGE piece of cake and a glass of milk...I just smiled to myself, he looked like a kid in a candy shop, so happy with his treat :sweet:
Was gonna walk to food basics which is a 15min walk from me. I got to a little store 2 blocks away and thought screw it it's way too cold lol. I bought veggies and dip and a ham sandwich there and came home. I'll do my shopping at walmart sat morning after work. ;)
Just wondering if anyone has bought those 1.5kg family entree's at metro for $15.00 and are they worth it?
