The temperature has gotten colder here today (it's winter, shock! lol) but in the midst of all my Chinese food prep I had to take my mother across town to Walmart for those winter tires on sale. $32 each which isn't bad at all.
I was looking for winter tires lately and I regret because most places are almost out of winter tires and the size for my car is no where to be found :(Quote:

Happy new year, I spent it alone but made the most of it. Steak and lobster tails. Also some chips with dip and a big fruit tray and I ate the whole thing. I wanted the sushi tray from independent for $7.99 but couldn't find any left oh well no biggie. :)

Nat, it was pretty good. I boiled the lobster tails and followed directions I saw online. It said to boil 1 min per ounce and it seemed to come out nice. :)

Not quite sure what I've done to my shoulder. Perhaps I've slept on it wrong but it twinges when it gets moved around, especially up. Should do well for my first day back to work tomorrow, lol. Least it got me out of shoveling snow.

Well, I had the oven on all day whilst cooking, so that helped warm me and the house.
Yes, we all stayed inside - son came over for supper, so he's the one who braved the weather - and even shovelled our walk! Ah, to be so young again!
