Good Morning everyone :)
Morning everyone :hello:
LOL, Dan, no one else stopped by yesterday!
Even though we don't celebrate this Christmas outwardly, I still do in my heart!

Hi Nat.
Yeah I see yesterday was a busy day for everyone.
The twinges have gone away, but after reading up on rotator cuffs it could have been that. I'm in my 40s, so I know this will be a common occurrence for years to come, lol. I already get back and hip aches, but I have scoliosis.
Good morning everyone :)
Good fine morning, Dan!!
Where's Nat? I hardly ever beat her here! Hopefully she's getting some sleep.
It's Thursday, so I had a usual conversation on the phone with our DD as she drives to another bank where she meets with clients ... She's booked with 12-hr days this time of year, so it's about the only chance I get to chat with her during the week. Normally we chat every day...
Hubby and I saw the Hobbit yesterday, and it was well done, of course, and with explanations by him and our DD I've pretty much caught up on what's going on..;)
And how are things with you? Wedding plans coming along nicely? I forget your date...or did you share that with us?
I'm still slowly recovering from my fall last May....sigh...it's not at all going fast enough...:(
Stay safe out there, Hon...and have a great day!
Good morn!
Lynn, no, not sleeping in or sleeping more - just trying to change things up a bit, not coming here first when I'm up in the morning.

Hi Lynn!
Oh, have to go watch the Hobbit! Do you think the Lady would be okay with that as our Date Night movie tomorrow...LoL...definitely not...*sigh* :)
Wedding planning is moving along smoothly (as smoothly as can be expected any way). Don't worry, you didn't forget the date, I haven't shared that. We're getting married at the end of May.
I'm glad to hear you're still trending upwards on your mend, and you stay safe! Don't need to set back your recovery with a slip due to the weather or anything.
Hello there Nat :)
Fresh Year, Fresh start to your morning routine, I like it :)
Hooray!! Early Congrats dan

Lol....Dan, since my hubby has to take me to every new animated movie that I want to see, and will watch, "Frozen" anytime with me, I just think it's fair that I accompany him to his choices, too. :) It's all about compromise. It was "Little Christmas", too, so I joked that it was his Christmas present....Although he and our DD read the books ages ago, it's not my cuppa, but since watching the Fellowship of the Ring movies, The Hobbit...I'm quite enjoying them...the scenery is so beautiful particularly where the Elves live. I want to go there.;) You might like to know that although there are huge battles in this movie, there was no blood and gore! I was watching it in 3D (Avimax?) and even as I was watching, I noticed I didn't mind, since it sure wasn't anything like "300"! So no worries there. Our DD thought perhaps bloody scenes would have catapulted it into another movie category grade.
And like I posted in another thread, if anyone tells you that I flinched or almost ducked when an explosion send boulders and wood flying out if the screen, they are absolutely lying!:frown:

:hello: Hi, all!
:)
Good morning Nat,
Hello everyone.
Friday's finally here!
 Wow. Seems like everyone's on the run on Fridays!!
Have a lovely weekend, Dan...and everyone. I have a little Doxje climbing up to my shoulder, kissings at the ready, letting me know that we're WAY late to hit the sack!!!
Good morning!
Lynn, do dogs sleep through the night? Just wondering, because cats surely don't!

Have a great day, everyone!
Hi All,
Here's wishing everyone a great and wonderful weekend.
Stay warm!
Hi, just a heads-up - I had posted a thread about apples recalled, but there are additional products and provinces added, so I updated it

:hello:
Good morn!
Had a great Sunday, hope you all did as well!
Sad that today my husband has to go back to work - it was SO wonderful having him home since two days before Christmas!
Enjoy what the day brings!
Today we are still in the deepfreeze, but there's a huge hope this will change in the next few days for the better!

Morning Nat, thanks for the Apple recall re-post.
I'll have a look at our apples tonight. I was going to make an apple based dessert for later in the week, so your post definitely caught my eye.
Warming up a little here...my window's aren't frozen shut anymore...
Stay warm everyone.
Good morning!!
My PACK won on the weekend, so my world is lovely this morning! I almost couldn't watch, but then remembered what our great leader, Aaron Rodgers said earlier in the year: "Re-lax...." And I almost could!
Nat, yes, every doggie we had slept thru the night. Jennifur, otoh, not only sleeps thru the night on our bed, she sleeps thru our first cup of coffee...even an extra hour! Under one of our pillows! Unless she hears anything to do with breakfast. Then we hear a tiny yelp.....she's so precious..She just woke up, went outside, and is fast asleep on my lap, folded like a burrito in our Sherpa-type blankie...
First physio day today since before Christmas, so we'll see if I've maintained my progress and what my next step should be. I can step up and off a 2" high board, leading with my injured leg, so hubby now has to put two together so that I can try stepping onto 4". Yes, life in the fast lane!
Have a safe, warm day, everyone!
Good morning everyone.
Glad to hear you're on the mend and progressing well Lynn.

Much nicer weather! Only problem which comes with going up to minus teens, is that it's dull, dull, dull....
Morning! Very good news re physio yesterday, progressing on to stepping on and off a 4" board with that leg from 2", and doing my tippy-toes up and down exercises..so hubby has to nail two 2" boards he prepared for me which, if you know anything about boards, won't be exactly 4", but higher, anyway.
Off to see my surgeon today, another x-ray, and I'm hoping there isn't any more collapsing of the shattered bone area where the two screws were removed, or any squiggling around of other screws to where they shouldn't be. I do not want any more surgery until everything needs to come out!
Have a great day, everyone!
Great progress with physio, Lynn - wishing you good luck today!
Great appt with my surgeon today, too! I don't have to go back to see her unless something feels like it's deteriorating! Which will NOT happen!! She addressed a couple of concerns I had, I thanked her profusely for the work she did and mentioned again how lucky I was that she was on call the day I fell. And she said, once again, that I had done about as much damage as a fall can do, and I had come through better than anyone could plan for. YAY!
Now on to just time and strengthening exercises....oh, where is spring?! I want to walk outside again with Jenny and not worry about falling! Omg, my greatest fear, and I don't think the weather will really have anything to do with alleviating that!
Toodles and good night!! :)
