Another mixed up time day - I couldn't help but sleep in the evening yesterday, so I'm up and at 'em.
So very odd, but I have no choice but to deal with it.

Well, for some of us, it hasn't been good night yet... I did NOT have a nap, but just could not get to sleep and now it's 4 a.m. Gah! Do I blame the heat/humidity or the pain? Dunno which is worse...

Well hello there, everyone!!
Back from camping...had an absolutely special time with 'the kids'...campfires, s'mores, and lots of just settin' and talkin'...love it!! We almost bought a 'permanent' park RV this time. It would be nice to have a larger one just sitting on the property waiting for us when we wanted to go there, but after a few second thoughts, we decided that since we only want to be there when the kids are there, we'll continue with the one we have. Since we store it on their property until we need it, at least we're not having it in our driveway all summer and hauling it to the island each time. So...money saved...;)
Seems everyone stayed healthy and happy while we were away!!! Nat, poor you, however, and your lack of sleep...I wish there was something a doctor could do for you, but you seem to have exhausted the possible remedies....still...there's got to be something!!
Off to watch the Jays win...ahh, nice to go away, nice to be home!!!

Air is cooler here, though still smokey. Things have gotten worse up north though, regarding the fires. The army will be going in to help today. They have had to evacuate 7,000 more people in addition to the thousands already done. No one has died, thank goodness - but homes have burned down, which is awful.
The areas of LaRonge and north of there are huge tourist places, especially in the summer - so it's an extra economic blow to the area as well.
