    My sister and her husband are in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Yeah, I'm sick of seeing beautiful beach pictures and amazing food, lol!

    However, she posted on FB yesterday that a medium box of Tide is over $33.00; a package of Kraft dinner a bit bigger than boxes we get here sells for $7.00 - just one package!
    On the other hand, booze is dirt cheap there...

    When I went to cartagena colombia the pilots were both pulled aside by customs because they had something like 200lbs of coffee. and I was thinking hey thats funny. Until my dad was pulled aside because he didn't have his landed immigrant papers with him. They were all set to deport him right then and there to Germany. But because I had my canadian passport and we both had the same last name they said they would let him go this time but next time remember his papers.

    Sometimes life here in Canada gets frustrating, but when you look at the big pic...it could be worse....

    expensive KD is when it $1.00 a box here, and I refuse to pay that much....

    cheap booze...meh...I don't drink, so that's not much of a draw for me.....

    but hell man....I could go for a nice hot pizza right now at 10 am....mmmmmmm
