I'm just going to take it easy today. I've been keeping myself very busy the past few days and it's catching up with me. Today I'll put a roast and some veggies in the oven for dinner tonight, and then just relax. I think I need a do nothing day. We never seem to take enough of those for ourselves do we.

holly, you for sure deserve a break!

Smells heavenly in here; ribs are boiling and the broth smells SO good! They are what's for supper tonight, I'll use the broth for barley soup later in the week.

And, it's still snowing here.... WTH? Just looked at the long range forecast, and we won't get to above zero until next week.

I am giggling because as a couponer I cannot believe that I have managed to run myself out of three staples, bread, milk and eggs. I foresee a shopping trip in the near future.

sitting here planning the rest of my day and week- have a double dr appt for my kids tomorrow., hopefully hubbies last late night shift is tomorrow, need to pick up a small bottle of champagne, finish my projects for the party, finish laundry today includingi hope our duvet. Hubby is going to do some errands today and finish his project. then maybe i'll get my house back in order.
while hubby was out yesterday with the guys he stopped at a local garage sale and picked up a bike for a neighbour (a Schwinn) nice bike. I hope she likes it.

dinner is on in the crockpot, chicken breast with country harvest chicken stove top stuffing on it. so good after its 'baked' away on it for a few hours.

OH, my! I got a TOP T green badge under my name! I'm so excited! Wonder what I did differently to get it? :)

The BBQ wasn't as bad as I feared. I just always dread inlaw events when DH isn't here. It's usually me running after the 2 kids the entire time. lol

Thankfully the held the party inside. It was pretty chilly today!

it went from quite nice out to BURR! in only hours..
were still working on hubbies project. really helps when you plug in your tools. *sigh* so no tv for now.. catching up on laundry, dinner done, off to do dishes. scary what happens when theres is no tv.

Just got all caught up! It was a busy, but nice weekend with the kids. Oldest is back at his Dad's now (I refuse to call that "home"... THIS is his home!) and little guy is in bed so the house is quiet.

Holy freaking crap, DS just scared the he!l out of me... I was sitting here at the computer, not paying attention, and I hear "mommy, you forgot my vitamin"- I thought he was sound asleep!!! I never even heard him come down the stairs lol. My heart just about stopped!!!!

Has anyone heard from Abby5? I checked her profile and she hasn't been on SC since February it looks like :( I know she was going through a lot, I really hope she's ok :(
