Today has been such a weird day. DS is napping. He usually naps from 11-12 or 1 if he's tired. This is nap #2 today! So hoping the fever breaks soon!

What a kick a$$ mail day!! I must have opened at least 20 envies AND I got my cheerios FPC!
Lola, hopefully the extra nap will do him good and he feels better when he wakes up! Never heard from the school today so DS must have been ok.Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr

I'm desperately hoping they are better and can go to school tomorrow. lol. I really, really need to get some groceries! Had to give them KD for lunch. yuck. I'll have to thank DH for buying it when I said not to. hahaha. I have hamburg out for dinner but neither are eating much, wondering if I should think of something small and light. hmmm.

I hate soup but I might see if that interests them - although DS would just make a mess.
They ate the last 2 bananas this morning and we're out of bread. GAH!
DS likes dry cereal when he's sick so I might try that. Was hoping for spaghetti though but it will just go to waste.

Thanks bub, it's day 2 of the fevers - although DS is worse than DD (she's borderline). I'm soooo hoping it's broken by tonight. How long do they last usually???
Well, I tried soup and that was a no go. Gave them dry cheerios when I made up the hamburg and they just played with it. Gave them hamburg and steamed veggies and it was about a 50/50 (50% on the floor, 50% in the mouth). Oh well. At least they ate something.

fever can last a few days usually ... if more than 2-3 i'd go to the doc just in case ... unless u see improvement then that's a good sign

DS is 16 months this month.
I just talked to my mom and she said if it's a bad cold or virus could last 4-5 days but go to the doc by day 4 in case he needs meds. She's a nurse btw.
Crap. Soooooo hoping it breaks tonight.
He's only ever had teething fevers, no colds/etc. This sucks!

So, I guess if it's still there tomorrow early afternoon (day 3) I'll call the doctor and make an appointment.
*fingers crossed* it breaks very soon! poor little guy!

Hi, y'all!
Back from the dentist no worse for wear - the hurty tooth has been pulled and I'm slowly thawing...
My jaw muscles hurt lots, though - I have a small mouth, and it's always hard to keep it open for him to get to the back.
So things will now be better...
