I don't know what goes through some people's minds! I've seen such inconsideration and can't believe how rude some people are! I guess they're the "sociopaths" in society: not concerned and don't give a dang about anyone else. If they ever apply for a gun license, don't give it to them!:mad:

So much done already today but still lots to do.
DS is receiving an award at preschool today! So exciting for the little guy! He's super proud. :)
They have an assembly and all the kids go (toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners -some schools still have alternative day programs). Each month 4-6 kids throughout the centre are recognized for some sort of improvement/achievement and parents are invited. They get to walk across the stage, receive their award and take pictures. So cute! The kids love it and are so proud.
DD won 2 awards during her 2.5 years but this will be DS's first (he's only been there about 8 months)

Gracesmommy - I'm so jealous, sounds like a perfect job!
I've been wanting to get into something like that. When I was a temp, I did a short contract with Hallmark. I loved it! Super flexible and nice to go in and do your job and leave. Would be perfect with young kids! Either that or putting up coupons! ;)

there was a thunderstorm earlier so I now can't cut my grass as the ground is too wet. Good job cos I ache from yesterday.

What a day! Highs and lows.
DS got his award for language development. :)
DS dropped my cell phone in DH's glass of coke. I went to the washroom and apparently DH didn't realize he grabbed my phone from the table until PLOP!!! :( It's sitting in a bowl of silicone packets but I might have to break down and get a new one (its 6-7 years old).
Oh and our pool is officially out! Now to work on the deck and all the crap underneath it. BIG job! It'll probably take most of the summer since DH isn't home very much. But at least by fall it'll be done and the kids will have A LOT more yard to play in!
