what a busy weekend. it took two days to decide on a freak pain color.. it had to match the table, chairs AND a retro piece of material hubby is going to frame. its called brown teepee.

anyway then went to get padding for the new flooring.. wont say where but $30 for a roll. as it turns out we need 117 sq ft. the roll only had 100.. really? so we decided um nevermind.. we went somewhere else. same padding $25 for 200!! sq ft. darn tootin. so now we might actually get something done this week I hope. THEN *I* get to start working on the kitchen. yippee.

anyway tired now. 'supervising' hubby while he works on the garden.

Well it's official. Just got off the phone with Telus and my phone is toast. Rice didnt work. The guy pretty much said were lucky they lasted the 6.5 years. So, off to find a new phone today. Super bummed.

Leaving to take DD to school, then DH to the airport. What a crummy day.

Lola, have you looked into pay-as-you-go plans, some of those plans are actually fairly reasonable, and may work out better than getting locked into a plan.

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a nice weekend. I've been busy with all my visitors and they pretty much tired me out. Its raining again today but the good side is, the next 3 days are suppose to be nice and sunny and warm.

Lola, my kids got brought me a new apple iPhone 4 to the hospital. They got it at Kudo, they have a plan for $60 a month, it includes unlimited minutes both local and long distance anywhere in Canada. It also includes unlimited picture texts, texts, face-time and 2G's of data. There is no contract either. personally, I think it's the best deal going right now without a contract. My dh and I have been with Kudo for a long time now, I was due for a phone upgrade so the kids did it for me. The tab is 150 and they paid $100 for the phone they said. Not sure what your budget is, but I think this is a really good deal.

Just got back from Telus and I'm a happy camper!

The girl played with the phone and said it was toast and started showing me other phones, but a guy asked if he could play with it so I say sure.

He reset a bunch of things and it works!!! Yippee! I'm freaking ecstatic! I couldn't thank him enough! lol

Thing is our plan isn't offered anymore -we have unlimited calling between our 2 cells and minute sharing and a few other options all for $70.

I was trying to decide between just buying a flip phone outright ($100) and putting it on our current plan or upgrading to a Blackberry (DH wants one so I'd get 2).

But I dodged the bullet for now! Sooooo happy! lol

DH is currently fighting with me to get a new car. I have ZERO interest. lol. Sure my 2000 van is getting long in the tooth but I've had it forever and it's mine. Free and clear. No payments. lol

I hate upgrading. Think it goes back to me being cheap. lmao.

afternoon everyone! so nice outside again today. a bit windy though. just came in from outside...the kids and I did some gardening this morning, took the girls for a bike ride and then to the park. I just put in a Barbie movie for them so they can take a little break. dh just took my van to get the snow tires taken off. woopsie, a bit late on doing that.

Dinner is in the crock pot and I'll be leaving to get DD soon. Just wish DH would check in soon.
