Good morning, Everyone!!!
Looks like another sunny day, going up to 20. I drove hubby to the airport at 5:30 this morning; he has an appt at Princess Margaret for a post pre-cancerous check-up, if that makes any sense to you....lol....He had a pre-cancerous condition that was treated, so this is a follow-up.
SO....I'm going to finish re-stocking the new trailer, and bake "homemade big muffins with real blueberries", to quote our grandson, today, pick up fresh fruit to pack, then we're off to a provincial park tomorrow! The kids will be going there on Friday, early after work, then we'll be together there for a couple of days!!

This business of posting first, in the wee hours of the morning is getting to be a habit!!

Sheesh, it's cloudy out there, and I thought it's supposed to be a sunny day!
Nope. I just looked...what was predicted to be sunny and hot all week, has now turned
to cloudy with RAIN tomorrow!! Ugh.First camping trip and it's going to be yucky...ah, well...

morning all.. not as early a start as yesterday.. still though.. many things to do today. hubby is off to T.O. for the day. sending another one to dr/s appt. myself i have errands to run, laundry to catch up on, chores to finish.
going to be cooler but nice.
made some brownies last night and some jello cake.

After my rant about the city bus last week - a nicer one. I was on the same bus yesterday just after school finished and there was this dad going through his daughters school bag with a pile of stuff on school letterhead. One was a letter with a reminder for money for a trip and he called her mom to find out why it wasn't paid (from the conversation, sounds like she is a junkie and he just got custody recently but had previously given her the cash for this) and he told the girl he wouldn't be able to come up with the money again but they would do something fun when he got home from work that day. The little girl was crying and the woman opposite him took out her wallet and handed him the cash for the trip plus $20 to take the girl out for dinner
That is so amazing to hear FP! Really restores faith in humanity to hear there's still such good, kind people out there! :)
Morning everyone. It just makes me smile to hear about such amazing people out there. Life is to short to be miserable, and hearing a wonderful story like that touches my heart. I got great news from my Dr's this morning......as long as I keep gaining weight, I can go home on Sunday or Monday, assuming I don't get some dumb cold or something since my immune system is pretty low right now. I'm sooooo excited :cheesygrin: I booked a campground for the month of July this morning and have full intention of being there! I'm going to enjoy time with the grandchildren and children, AND if all is going well, I might just extend the stay for the month of August too. Lynn, I'm so excited for you and dh, and can't wait for you to tell us all about your adventures this summer camping. Mrs Sunshine, I wasn't really hungry until you mentioned that Jello cake, brings me back to the days when I was young and my mom used to make it for us. Can you slide a piece my way??? Did you make strawberry or orange by chance :tongue: Hope everyone has an amazing Wednesday!
